NLA Pavilion

This endeavour materialised through a dynamic partnership involving the School of Architecture at the University of East London, New London Architecture, the esteemed Building Centre of London, and innovative Ramboll Engineers

This project serves as an architectural bridge between two iconic cities: Venice, during its illustrious Biennale-themed ‘Fundamentals,’ and London, during its own captivating festival of architecture titled ‘Capital.’ The London Pavilion, an amplified rendition of its Venetian counterpart (Stargate), graces the heart of central London’s South Crescent, situated adjacent to the Building Centre.

This pavilion is cited outside the New London Architecture HQ, a dedicated organisation that delves into comprehending and celebrating London’s architectural legacy, while also provoking policymakers and architects to bridge the gaps between the past and the future.

The London Pavilion stands as a testament to the city’s architectural discourse, offering a glimpse into the intricate tapestry that is London’s urban fabric. It’s a tangible link connecting diverse architectural narratives, both local and international, echoing the vibrancy of London’s design evolution.
